DTR is a ghost town
Wow. I haven’t been here in a long time but this place died. Where did everyone go? We used to run 2000 posts a day on this site. Some of the forums haven’t seen a post literally for years. I hope you guys are doing well.
Yeah I would think the same cougar.
Seems like it is the same dozen or so of us here most days and a few brand new people who ask a question and leave [and sometimes never come back] if it is not answered in 10 minutes.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Jack, good to see you here again. I agree, DTR has become a sort of ghost town. This place used to be very lively and fun every day, but something happened and now members do not post very much. Do not understand what has happened. I got bored with this site, so have not posted for ages now, although frequently check in just to see if anything interesting is happening.
All is good down here south of my two northern borders.

Welcome back Jack.
Work and COVID have taken many away from visiting and posting.
Place has become very quiet since “those guys” took over.
Seems Hot Rodding diesels just ain’t what it used to be.
BTW, Dino or Synthetic In your engine these days?
🤣

How nice to see some posts in here from more than a couple people. No one would make any PHOO so I quit coming. ha ha
I have been quite busy and not on the computer as much. And, no truck or 5er any longer, so my interests have wandered down
some different paths. Cute thing about the truck - - - my grandson was a die hard FORD truck man, carry over from his father.
He had so many problems with those things - - one would continuously break, so he would change trucks - - to a FORD. I kept
telling him, get a TRUCK, A RAM. He called all excited - - he bought a 2015 - 2500 Laramie diesel. He is in love. Told him this
website, so he may show up. He a Sargent in the Army. He is happy. Me happy. The blonde is hollering for lunch. Better go.
She make me phOO - - ha.

It’s good to see all of you guys again. I guess I didn’t stick around for the flock. Haha. I can’t believe this thing has been running for 19 years now. It’s amazing how time flies. I know many of us have moved on etc etc but it’s still great to see some of you old school fellas. I miss those days. We had a lot of fun back then. Before things like facebook and instagram, this place was hopping. The new social media sites took much traffic away from ALL forums like this one.
I've noticed many forums are down on activity.
I think the big factor is money is tight - folks are selling off projects, or putting them away for now. So much of this hobby-discussion is driven by what to buy.

I read here all the time, but rarely post My Bad I know.
These web forums can thank social media, especially Face Book, and Marketplace.
So many FB groups on everything.
And No, I'm not on FB either.
Still enjoy these forums and Power Wagon sites.

I guess I'm too politicly incorrect to be acceptable to the facebook crowd. They ran me off.
I noticed the same on other forums I frequent u2slow. Maybe the kids have just grown up and moved out of the house. Us grandpas don't have a lot to brag, oops talk about anymore. The mod days are mostly behind us and now it's just trying to keep what we got running. 1st gen.org is pretty much dead. I haven't seen hardly any activity there in a long time. That use to be the premier 1st gen go to site.

Lary hasn't been the same since his wife clocked him in the skull with that frying pan, a few years back.
