Thought I'd share a few pictures of a cake the wife made for her friends son. It was his first birthday and the wife was asked to make two cakes for him. Her friend was calling it a "Bee-Day", that way the cakes have bees on them. She made everything herself, the cake, the little bees, did all the decorating and frosting.

ok, I have no clue what a netti pot is (snot pot?) and where to get one. hubby is terrorized by sinus stuff. even had to get the chisel out to open up his sinuses, I watched that surgery (something is just wrong with me).
but that would be a great Christmas gift for him.
no leaks on the boiler, keeping wood going in once a day. all is well.
went to a small city south of here for a change, do some Christmas looking.
ended up on the wrong side of a Santa parade with all the fire trucks sounding off. usually a no no but I was in a different county. guess they did it for all the right reasons; found out that local football team went state champs; 14 iraq army members of the national guard there came home; three city fire chiefs (all retired) lived on that street, outside with all the family.
being out in the boonies- it was nice to see community spirit and pride! all the little ones waiting...and all the lights! decorations! really does the heart well!
I have a propane fired wood stove looking thingy in the living room. really does look like the real thing, fools a lot of my friends. house is warm enough without firing it up all the way, pilot light is enough bouncing off the logs. comfort though, recliner, feet up, good book, hot choc with butter rum for flavor...ahhh
sooo we have fronty's watch, computer, tv remote and fireplace. well, what else do we need here in the breakroom?!
Matt, sneaky happy birthday- hope you get Kleenex.
Blake's family- you are in our prayers! all goes well for him, amen.
T radius, your week of bachelorhood is ending right? roll tide roooll! wow
can't sleep and do not want to do paperwork. will reply Redleg's wild ride and scream session....
