Talking

eek, what a picture to see first thing.....

rather it be your bachelor pad before the removal of evidence.....LOL
teach my husband about cleaning up before I come home, will ya?

Claude, i am right here in New York protected from the five feet of snow everywhere else. love living between two state parks with a canyon and high elevation (mountains to us..) was going to zip out your way for a few days but fate had other plans. wanted to cut down four trees then. fate was still around. gave up.

pex was a subject few pages back- yeah, the apartment we built for my dad, now my son lives in, has hydronic heat. oh the wonders of it! if we had the funds then, the whole house would be that way....we love the boiler and have costs reduced for ourselves but walk on the heated floor and room confort is waaaaay different!

have a happy all you working guys!

Mornin' all!

8 above here. Gonna have to open the winter front a bit more today. Wouldn't want to overheat.....

Fiver- swiming is good for you no matter the tempeture. Good news about no knife though.

Shovelhead- 2 weeks of bachelorhood went fast. Hopefully the cleanup will too.

Paul- easy on the back. Must be nice to have a maid though....

Gotta get the kids to school then clean out the grocery store. Fridge is looking pretty bare....

Thanks to Cincydiesel and Blue3quarter, I had discovered that the old break room was still open. So I was hanging out there, relaxing in the peace and quiet when chaikwa and Mexstan barge in and start yelling at me to get some clothes on and get the heck out!!! Next thing I know, Admin turns out the lights and locks the door and puts a big CLOSED sign on it. Spent almost ten minutes trying to get a ride back home. You ever try to hitch a ride wearing only one sock? Luckily, the guy that picked me up was very friendly.

Evening all, Was cold last night. Tonight is kinda mild. Friday and Saturday night its gonna be in the teens..... Yikes! Coldest snap in 10 years. So much for global warming.

Took the rear tire off of dads Kubota M125 today, had some wire in it. Pulled it off and had it patched. Heck of a time breaking that bead cold like it was.

Took the stacks off of the '90 stuck em back on the '08. I like to change things up every once in a while.

Evening everyone. Snow should be here in a couple hours. Been hovering around 20* today. Got the bbq fired up and have some ribs slow cooking over the coals.

Thanks for the offer but it got to 39 this afternoon. It's so warm my portable ballast in the back of the truck started to melt, finally. I had allot of fun with it tonight though. I gave away snow seeds to the kids at church tonight. What a hoot!

Wink

wow- you really DO have his button!

sorry you had to be super repairman; hope you did not look like the obaminator....

one inch foam board works wonders between pipes and outer walls....for what it's worth...

a beautiful 16 degrees here, no wind. out to load up the boiler. one night I will toss the chestnuts in to see what they do. I know ya roast them but I wanna try it. better wear my army helmet (70s steel pot).

LOL Claude that was funny and I AM about 400 miles away from new york city! it isn't a zoo though- it is an elephant sucking all the water and electricity out of my state. they now have the majority government so all the money vaccuumed out now. my wish is that all the residents of the state go on welfare in the city. wow, what a way to live! I'd be better off and free theatre tickets, library, arts, ahhhh!

enh, depends on the driving. for a dump truck -no.
my opinion only- for a highway truck, yes it would be okay but that is also a lot of hassle for what you get. it is comparable to a K & N filter versus napa.
big rig shops have better options, but i do not know the limited space you may deal with....

Claude you're on a roll tonight.

Heidi, all repairs still holding firm. I talked to a buddy at church tonight and he said the Pex I need is about $.40/ft. That's pretty cheap as far as I'm concerned so I'll have to plan for the replacement of the supply line in the spring. If you haven't had you're evening laugh, swing by Lary's thread on "How to skin a cat" but don't blame me if your keyboard gets trashed.
