Mornin' all! Coffee's hot and I'm on my third cup now. Customers are bein' nice today and letting me finish the whole cup!

Had an awesome weekend - drilled a hole in my exhaust manifold for an EGT sensor, all on my own. My guy friend attempted to take over, but I wrestled the drill away. LOL it's my baby and I'll do the damage.

Disclaimer: no diesels were harmed in the making of this non-movie.

No donuts for me this morning - coworker treated us to homemade strawberry/chocolate cupcakes. Mmm, I'd share with y'all, but I ate 'em all

Hope you all have a good day!

Josh
Only supposed to get up to 99 today. According to yahoo! weather, it'll be 103 tomorrow - glad I'll be indoors all day! I can't wait for the monsoons to get here.

3 Days of Pike fishing at George lake just south of Delta AK. Lots of fun! Pike are mean and aggressive making for great fights.

Beautiful country out there. This pic was taken at midnight saturday. It's the kind of sunrise/set combo we get up here as we get close to the summer solstice. (the longest day of the year)

Attachment 22514

We were still out fishing at midnight.

Arizona State University. Largest University in the nation.

Im sure you've heard. But we have a dry heat here. Little to no humidity. It is like crawling in your oven.

I bet REDLEG and I WOULD have fished till midnight but the fish were blind and the rods were in the 4x4 when we went down 200 steps or so to the dam. looked back up once, nyah........had a great time in Northern Mich and have to come back, that's all there is to it. HAVE to visit OLD DOG's place; I am batting 0 for 2. get some time in before I head out West late August I guess....work on something.

tractor trailer driving today, felt good and put the big rig where it was supposed to go. HAVE to remember what gear I am in, for downshifting.
kind of cool nailing the tight turns in a village where we do errands.
instructor says I did well, come back tomorrow for backing and docking.
(this is a progressive course- you don't move on until you pass)

it is 97 degrees here, humidity of 87 percent. not in love with it. have to go up in the barn and cut insulation board. new weight loss program.

son calmly discussed traffic ticket with me, knock me over with a feather...

Heidi waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Afternooner and home made cinnamon rolls, not made by me.

NW Houston, 96 and humid, muggy, sticky.
Prudent student, had a Dr. appointment, with an ortheopedic DR. Knee still swelled up and painful. No fun, no skydiving or bungee jumping. Just nose to the books.
My much older and much much wiser sister's broken collar bone will never heal. Problem with old age. She still has pain and can't drive.

Always, been in Oregon, and slogged thru some of them bogs in the fog.
Trooperthorn, you still learning in school, or is it work from you teaching? FYI 43 is not old.
JBJarko, I got used to the AZ heat, outdoors, never liked being in a building as it was like a oven. Love them Queen Creek olives. U of A girls softball team, watched them win on TV. Great team.
ofcmarc, Looks like you had a lot of fun. Do they still have the midnight ball game in Fairbanks on the 4th of July? Haven't been up there for years. It was an expence paid vacation, when I went. WORK. FO goes on them all the time.
capall, would you please post some pix of your truck drawing? Good story about you putting your EGT. Way to go.
04 CDT, that is hot and sticky in that part of the country. Niece should go in to sales if she talked sis out of the microwave.
Ijobb, keep daughter busy. She the one that got those awards for karate, or something?
Trad, might have been good this morning, but a bit chewy now. You did good in place of MIA janitor.
BusyHAT must be working hard, or hiding good.

Have a good un and be safe out there.

The coffee or the cinnamon rolls? And that's terrible about your sister!

Daaaang, and here I want to move to Texas. Although, Amarillo's less sticky this time of year.

Outside, you get the breeze. Inside, you get stuffiness, and that's definitely not fun. And it's also not fun when the swamp cooler takes a dump

And I would love to post my drawings, but can't due to the "no adverts" rule PM me for my website! Or just keep an eye out for the next TDR! (blast, that might be advertising...uh...whoops?)

And thanks! I felt all accomplished! I'm just glad I'm small enough to fit on top of my engine, though it must have been quite a sight LOL

Its still 80* and what feels like 200% humidity here today. For the last two weeks we've had a thunderstorm everyday. Down state they had worse rain than us, saturday Indy got 10 inches of rain during an 8 hr period from what the news said. I guess the flooding it pretty bad down there. I'm back in the shop for this week, my partner in on vaca down state. Hopefully he didn't get flooded. Our project should be wrapped up next week. Kinda sucks being back in the shop, I've been out in the field for a month with now boss. Now I have the boss breathing down my neck all day.

Sure do. Except it's played on solstice (6/21) not July 4. Been doing it for 100years now.
