I'm taking a class on American cultural history, and it is quite amazing how our ideologies, theory of exceptionalism, culture and what, reflects today. It is one big irony. I love history.

I tell ya, being a history major has given me a new perspective on a LOT of things going on today. I don't want to get into it per the forum rules regarding politics, but it all makes a lot of sense if you just understand the basic philosophies of history and politics.

Never majored in history but I am more of a history buff. I've taken alot of different US and World history classes. Funny how it repeats itself over and over. I love military history and history that deals with industry.

That's what I focus on, a couple of things in fact. Specifically U.S. Military history and military & foreign policy. Definitely intrigues me.
