You're probably right, just one call, false alarm. They're getting it pretty heavy to the south though.

Let me correct T-Rad's statement... I'm SUPPOSED to be teaching little ones how not to burn. Waiting out the storm that Red speaks of.

Morning all.

Today is Wednesday, June 23rd.

On this day in 1683 - William Penn signed a friendship treaty with Lenni Lenape Indians in Pennsylvania.

1836 - The U.S. Congress approved the Deposit Act, which contained a provision for turning over surplus federal revenue to the states.

1860 - The U.S. Secret Service was created to arrest counterfeiters.

1865 - Confederate General Stand Watie, who was also a Cherokee chief, surrendered the last sizable Confederate army at Fort Towson, in the Oklahoma Territory.

1868 - Christopher Latham Sholes received a patent for an invention that he called a "Type-Writer."

1951 - Soviet U.N. delegate Jacob Malik proposed cease-fire discussions in the Korean War.

1952 - The U.S. Air Force bombed power plants on Yalu River, Korea.

1972 - U.S. President Nixon and White House chief of staff H.R. Haldeman discussed a plan to use the CIA to obstruct the FBI's Watergate investigation.

1993 - Lorena Bobbitt of Prince William County, VA, sexually mutilated her husband, John, after he allegedly raped her.

Kind of a dull history day. Sort of like the coffee.

Hey guys, stay safe - - you have had plenty of nasty stuff up your way. Seems like it all is going further north this year - - weird. Supposed to hang around Oklahoma.

OK, out to change oil in mama's bus.

I hope it misses you. (insert Twilight Zone theme here) Imagine if you will............you and a tornado meeting up. I can't even begin to picture a bad hair day of Biblical proportions!

Oh look honey, the bee hive from the 60's is coming back.

Greetings from the water logged, tornado trodden, lightning licked, hail hammered, washed out bridges and highways land of Canaduh eh.

Oh Great fiverBobbylatexpaintedonSpeedo has noticed that the north is taking the whoopin' abnormally.

We are expecting more severe weather today.

I managed to sneak into the break room and I did a great job of altering the PHoo0 with some [censored] and crushed mosquito juice.

Yeah, I was thinking about hitchhiking... I don't remember the beer being that expensive... It was about 5 bucks when I was there. Maybe it was just the airport...

Mornin, everyone. I'm back safe and sound. Probably on 20 or so minutes late.

Still on east coast time, I woke up at about 4...
