Claude, remember the picture of my console we posted? That monitor on the left with DTR has about 4 operating systems I have to be logged into and operate on. So, my green light may be on here, but that doesn't mean I'm not working.

 

Hey, went down those Fed Forest roads we wre looking for today. A lot still had about 9" of hard-pack from the groomers. Went by Olga Lake too. We might have to hit that with a canoe and try for a pike. Wish I'd of thought to take a picture.

Hey Don, who dispatches SP over in the Mount Pleasant area? Is that still Rockford? I may need SP over there at some point. A guy over there has a piece of my property and may refuse to give it to me without a fight, so I want to at least TRY to do this legally instead of the Massachusetts way.

Temp has dropped 10 degrees in the last couple of hours. 28 now and sprinklers going full blast on the blueberries and fruit trees. Only supposed to be below freezing for a couple of hours. Hopefully, any damage will be minimal.
Lost it all a couple of years ago. 3/4 acre of blueberries makes a lot of wine.
Retirement is great. Haven't missed the stress at all. Got plenty to do.
Will finish clearing the fence row area today and start stringing new wire.
Syrup pan is finished. 105 gallon capacity. Just about have all the stuff gathered for the evaporator. Mill is coming along nicely, waiting on sprockets and chain to get in.
Time to walk the orchard and check on everything again.

Well, here's an example from another thread here in the 'Other' forum; Is it swearing? No. But would you want to be explaining to your son or daughter the intent of that phrase as used by that poster? Or the phrase 'POS' for that matter? I wouldn't. It wasn't tolerated in the past here. It's common-place now tho. I have nothing against this language personally, and in fact use more than my share of it myself, just not here.

<sigh> Ok, I'm done ranting. I'm sorry, it's just something I was quite proud of the DTR for in the past, and like so many things everywhere, it's gone by the wayside.

I'm not trying to be a horses rear Scott, we're friends, and I'd never say a cross word to you, but talking about it here does not good if you don't report the post so we can see it and take care of it.

I find lots of stuff every day, and edit it as fast as I can. I just don't have time to look at every new post every day. We need the members to help.
