Mornin all HAPPY EASTER

DC sounds like your feeling better. Watch the cold air in the lungs.

Nice to see new faces in the break room. Don't mind the janitor he don't bite, most of the time. To busy moving snow...

Well the grocery run went well, in and out in a reasonable time. Almost 500 $$ later and we were out of there. Have to cut down on the eating I can see that. Claude where is that dumpster you got the donuts out of? Need desert for Sundays supper.

Chris keep those old dirty horseshoes out of the coffee. It's not sanitary ya know.

SR are you talking to someone about a mill? Is that why you need a translator?

Have to get ready for church so catch you later...

I think I know what happened to the easter bunny...and who's dog does this look like??? Hmmm

Im sitting here watching Trucks! on Spike channel.

They are destroying all my notions of my youth about power.

They dynoed a Chevy 454SS at 200 HP. and that was right at stock numbers! My Frontier is 170 HP, my Trooper is 210 HP, my Xterra is 240 HP. I dont remember these '90's hotrod trucks being gutless, but my frontier weighs less, has WAY under 1/2 the displacement, and only 30 less HP and 100 less ft-lbs torque.

ijob,
Found a manufacturer in Colombia. Builds a lot of stuff for the coffee industry also. Looking at one of 2 models. The biggest has a main roller that's 13" dia x 12" long with the other 2 at 12" x 12". Requires 15 hp, but will run approximately an acre of cane thru in a day. That's about 26 tons. The other one will run around 15 tons a day. Big boy weighs 1,870 kg(4,100 lbs) while the smaller one goes 1,400 kg(3,100 lbs). Lots of cast iron.
Nice thing about dealing with Colombia, there isn't any import tariffs or customs fees for agri equipment.
There is a bit of a language barrier. Their Spanish is a bit more refined than the Tex-Mex we deal with here.
Got another load of chicken poop to spread on the "regular" garden.

Afternoon. Back from the Zoo. It was nice, not too bad, weather was nice, and it was not crowded till right before we started to leave.

Fronty, I think that I saw that show last week, where they were talking about the truck wars, and how the first lightnings and 454SS's were weak... I could not believe it.

OL is making Easter dinner in the oven here in the room... I'm depressed.

BEER!!!

Mark:

We missed you at our small GTG in Greensboro yesterday!

We had some fun with the nitrous bottle again spraying it into DTR Member
"marine4life's" (Bryan Adams) Truck! If you get a chance go over to the NCDTR #18 section and take a look at some of the pictures they took.
We didn't go with quite as much on his as we did on yours but he still broke 500 H.P.! He was worried about the headgasket. He is a fine young man, a career Marine like you and he is stationed here near me @ Camp Lejeune.

Afternoon all!

Sounds like the Easter bunny was good to you all. Had a nice weekend here. My daughter and grandson came down Saturday afternoon, spent the night and went to Easter services with us this morning. That little boy is growing like a weed. John, glad you guys had some fun this weekend. Just one question, did Bryan smile as big as Mark when he heard the numbers. Wooooooo

I know the emmissions of the era killed alot of power, but 200 HP on a 4500 pound truck is actually worse than 170 HP on a 3500 pound truck.
