Haha, imagine 3 guys, ages 19-21, finishing a bottle of Absolut with no drinking games, and seeing a package of zipties. We were strapping them EVERYWHERE. We were handcuffing each other and seeing how many we could break and how fast we could break them. We even put them around our biceps and flexed to pop them, rofl. One guy couldn't, but eh, he's a runner and has no upper body strength. I'll post a video, but thought I would challange all of DTR to get zipties, put them good and tight around their biceps, and flex to pop them. After many tries we figured out the white and black ones were strongest, and the colored ones were weakest. I only managed to pop a 3/16" wide white ziptie around my bicep, and it hurt, but probably because it was my left arm. We went back to the colored ones after that. When they let go, they usually take a layer or two of skin with them. I'll post a vid tommorow, rofl.

 

Well folks, there you have it another competition for the “Redneck Olympics” staged in the lower end of the gene pool.

Lets see now, we’ve got 3 drunks with zip ties “strapping them EVERYWHERE” and trying to flex and pop them off, while handcuffed and taking a video, one of them is a “runner” (from the description of what was taking place that sounds like the only logical option). They did manage to pop a 3/16" wide white ziptie.

The only reasonable conclusion I can draw from this is, if I need to tie up 3 drunks, use ¼ inch zip ties as a minimum.

The bad part is I'm looking forward to the video.
