The Dragon's spring time breakroom and watercooler (3.21.10-3.27.10)
I drink like a fish anyhow, so having 2 beers is nothin!
Hey, buddy!!!
Afternoon, DTR loyal. Just got home from my other job, gotta finish up some stuff with that, clean up the tools, then it's haircut time for all of the males in the Morton household.
Got me a fresh, cold beer in my oversized beer mug... the afternoon is looking promising!

Afternoon Mark
Early quit today.
Got some chicken and pork marinating for the grill in a little bit. Watching some tv and doing laundry.
Just got back from buying jeans, broke the 40's... 38x30, new milestone.
Anyone need about 5 pairs of barely wored 40x30 Wranglers let me know.
Mark enjoy your beer. With doing what you do, and supporting your family like they deserve, there's nothing wrong with a few cold ones.
Imaginary Beer!

You know, I was thinking about making some arm covers for welding out of a couple of pair of small wranglers... cut the legs off, put a strap across the back... I dunno.
The beer is tasty. Only two weeks old, according to the sticker on it

Evening everyone.
Mark, I'm enjoying some cold beer right now too.
Blake, you keep the weightloss up and you'll have smaller pants than me. Depending on the jeans I wear 36x34 (levi's) or 38x34 (old navy).
Worked on my brothers truck today. He wanted it looked over really well before he goes back down to Bloomington tomorrow night. Everything was good, just gave it an O/C and new plugs. That 4.7 v8 is easy to change the plugs in.

I've done only O/C's on his truck, never really had to do any work on it. I drove it today after putting the new plugs in, that's a quick little truck.

That jordan spreader was originally Pere Marquette, then C&O, then Ann Arbor (orange), then Tuscola and Saginaw Bay, now that stretch of track is Great Lakes. Although , the yard there was originally Grand Rapids & Indiana, until Pennsy took it over, then Penn Central, then Michigan Northern until TSBY took over.

Those pictures are in Cadillac Michigan. Ephram Shay started out building the first shay in Haring Township, which is the township that borders Cadillac's north side. Although that one is painted for the Cadillac-Soo, I think it actually ran on the Mitchell-Cobb, who were two lumber Barons in town. Had a couple narrow gauge logging lines through the area.
Just north of here in Buckley, Dennis, they hav the Buckley Old Engine Show every August. Full of the old oil burners, coal and wood fired tractors like in your avatar. Also steam engine/ belt driven mills, foundry, machine shop, wood shop, etc.

Evenin' all!
Spent the afternoon outside. Kids playing in the yard while I cleaned some winter out of the truck..... Badly needed. The shopvac job will have to do until it warms up enough to get out the hose for a proper cleaning.
After that, fired up the 4wheeler and took the kids for a ride. Good times. Got more use outa that thing this winter than my snowmachine......
Gonna head to town for a bit. Gotta get Mama a birthday present and scrounge up some dinner.....
