Evening everyone, well my friend that was in the accident the other day made it through his surgery just fine. He's awake and alert. From what I was told he's already irritated the hospital staff so he's back to his normal grumpy self. He'll be in the hospital for a while and then he'll be transfered to a rehab facility to learn to walk again. It's gonna be a long time before he's back to his usual routine but at least he's recovering well.

My brother is coming home for a few days. we're gonna visit with grandpa saturday and I'm also gonna look over his truck.

That is, change my name on gun-forums to match my name here.

 

He has a crew cab 06 Dakota TRX4. It's has the 4.7 v8 and has most of the options. He bought it a year and half ago. pretty nice truck except its solar yellow. He calls it the "Highway dept truck" since out state highway dept has yellow dump trucks.

 

That thing should move pretty good. Always wanted to see em put a Hemi in that Dakota. That would be pretty kickin.

Speak for yourself, boy. Hey Scott, snow gone up there yet? Sure getting nice down here - - - FINALLY. Several of my friends down here are watching what is happening before heading back your way - - the ones I was seeing when we were up there. Even though it was a cold one down here they were sure thankful they were here. Nasty winter.

Heading for the beddy bye early - - have to get up early and head out. Sooooo, hold it in the road and I will leave it for the night owls. NOPE, not even taking coffee along - - nighty night.

Sometimes that happens when you flush the toilet on the third floor at the same time someone else gets a drink of water on the first floor.

 

For a 4x4 truck it moves out pretty darn good! He had a 03 v6 dakota before and that thing would not move out of its own way, the truck was a dog.

I'd like to see dodge stuff a hemi into a dakota, heck they use to have a 5.9 gasser in the R/T dakotas.
