Mark it could have been worse. You could have tripped over a rake, hit your head and then fell in a hole after been blasted with that water!

Evening everyone. Been busy today and didn't have much time to get on here earlier. Did some work in the garage this morning and then mom and I met for lunch. We usually go to lunch together once a week. Helped her with her shopping today. We went to walmart, target, and the home depot this afternoon. She got a new weed eater, so I put it together and trimmed the yard at mom and dads today. The one she bought, a Ryobi, has the ability to use several different attachments. She said that she's gonna buy the edger and tiller attachment for it. Seems like a nice machine for her to use, it did a nice job when I used it today. Came back home and did some work outside and then worked in the garage for a while. The wife made a good dinner tonight. She made her pepper steak recipe over rice!

Got a visitation to go to friday, a good friends grandmother passed away the other day. She had been sick and going downhill for a while now.

Matt, this is great stuff my young friend. Absolutely cherish these times with your mom. (Some how I believe you do.) We as men under appreciate this relationship once we get older. Good on you for sharing your time with her with us. I do not see this dedication to family on a regular basis. It is truly refreshing to see it here as usual.

Good on you Pal!

Thanks Tim, I've been trying to see certain family on a regular basis over the last few years. The thing that got me to visit regularly was after my grandma dies 2 yrs ago. Her and I were very close and would make several visits a week to see her. Her house was on my way home from work them so I would always stop in BS and sometimes I'd bring dinner or she would have food ready. When she passed on I was working alot and hadn't been able to see her much at the time. What got to me was the day she died I was gonna stop by afterwork with her favorite meal, KFC Original recipe with mashed taters and gravy. Got the call around 0830 that day while at work from my dad saying that she passed on. Felt bad afterwards since I hadn't seen her in two weeks at that point because of my work schedule. After that I promised myself to have at least one visit with certain family members each week, Mom dad grandpa ect...

How is the desert treating the family?

Your blood pressure down?
Yeah, that was it... We're enjoying it. It was getting warm, then we had cold snap... It's only 60*, but I feel like putting on a coat! Funny how your blood gets thin quick.

I doubt that my BP will be coming down for another few years.

That's normally the way it is. Too bad it took a major accident.

Mornin, DTR. Going to medical this morning again, I about can't take the knee pain anymore. I hope they give me some good drugs. I doubt it, tho.

Be safe, everyone.

Hmmm??? I love these intelligent conversations that occur in this shack sometimes. Golly, now I can start my day since I have learned all this stuff.

Horrible day down here - - the sun is too bright, it is 72 degrees, birds are singing so loud I can't concentrate, the girls are crowding in my lawn (Sand Hill Cranes), bald eagle sitting on the pole right behind the house just looking, a good looking blonde sitting in the lanai drinking coffee and reading a book, the orchids are hurting my eyes with all the color - - this is just too much. Think I need to go back to bed.

OK, gotta go finish working on the motorhome of a friend's widow and get it on the lot for her. Lot's to do. See ya later,

Bob

Suppitchall? In for some O.T. today. Good news on our in-house oil riggers. Was thinking about it on the way in.
Heidi, TSC has their duckling's in stock if you want to get some cool-points with your pet pike.
