Dont Tread on Me Flags

I just last week started flying a Dont Tread on me Flag (You other Navy Vets will Understand why) in my yard and actually had some lame brained Red Diaper Doper Baby try to tell me it offender her.becuase it represented a time of Slavery in America. OK I didnt shake her teeth out though the thought crossed my mind. I did tell her she was tresspassing and if she was not off my Property in 20 seconds I would Let the Dogs at her. She left.
HMM Some day I need to get a Dog!!!
P.S. Where can I Get a Confederate Battle Flag? ;D

Sorry Just Needed to Vent Have a Good Day Y'all

To the best of my knowledge, it has nothing to do with slavery. It's about the Revolution. Of the various designs, this one remains my favorite.

She was probably referring to when we were a slave to the king. She might want to revert to a monarchy..... some women enjoy beeing bossed around.

Re:Dont Tread on Me Flags

Naval tradition dictates that the above flag (First Navy Jack) is to be flown by the oldest, active commissioned naval warship afloat. The U.S.S. Kitty Hawk is currently that vessel. However, SECNAV has ordered ALL U.S. warships to fly the flag during the duration of the global war on terrorism. The flag dates back to the Revolutionary War as a symbol of the Continental Navy's resistance to the British.
Slavery? I think not. Some people should go back to school.

I learn lots on here.

Being a Canuck I like to learn how our southern neighbors [and a bit north too] do things like what was described about that flag. Thanks for the knowledge.

I have the POW MIA flag on our flag pole. I'm surprised the people who don't know what it stands for I know I like History but geesh don't people have to take some sort of History classes in highschool? I know I did.

The Constituition is the Oldest Commissioned ship, but is not in an "active" status.
