doggone it, was in NC, SC

Why is it that when I'm going where there are lots of members, I never find out early? Family wasn't home, so I had no 'puter to access. Delivered in Salisbury NC on Thursday, but was late for my reload, and spent the night in Chester SC. Sorry I missed the chance to meet some folks. Just one thing, You can have that Humidity, a northern boy like me doesn't function well at all in it
. But is sure is pretty country. It must not rain very often, because I noticed that nobody seems to drive very well in the rain

Ya think that is bad?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ya ought to see em when they get a little dusting of snow!

BTW,,,,,,,,,, just think how good that humidity is for your skin,,,,,,,,, opens the pores right up and you can avoid that unsightly water-weight-gain by just standing around doing nothing.

and the bees, man are they hateful when it's hot and humid. Last Thursday I was bush hogg'n with the tractor and stirred up a yellow jacket's nest. Thank heaven I got only two stings. Knocked my glasses off then I ran over them. Fortunately the tractor is yellow, most of the bees attacked it instead of me. I recovered my glasses (sans left lense) after the coast had cleared. Nat

Those nasty little YJ's would have put me in the hospital had they gotten to me. They are the only bee that I am allergic too for some reason. A little gasoline in the hole late at night with a match works very well to slow them down a little.

Man do you and I think alike or what? Gasoline at dusk when there's no activity does wonders! Nat

yep, pretty humid here in Missery right now too. Way more than last year. So humid it's been raining early before dawn in the mornings.

Reminds me of the time I went camping with my dad and granddad when I was a kid right next to a YJ nest in an old dead tree. My granddad doused it with some kerosean. Next morning I woke up to the tree completly gone and a pile of ashes on the ground. A spark from the campfire must have sparked it sometime in the middle of the night. I slept right through it.

Just goes to show ya, you never get too old to play with fuel and fire. Nat

After the past two weeks, the people around here should be pro's at hydroplaning down the road!! We've gotten a TON of rain. Maybe over 8"!!!

Yellowjackets dont last long around here, gasoline finds its way to there nest's purty fast. And the ones that think there high and dry in the trees get a nice dose of #8 lead. And then of course i run for life
