they are offering and selling a collectors truck with an advertised statement that they will only produce 3700 of these units, thus making them valuable to collecters.

Then after stateing they were only going to produce a certain number they make more than that. thus striving to lock in "customer loyalty" so that the next time they offer a collecters vehicle people will run right out and buy from them again.
