Jack, you said it very well. If the gentleman is not comfortable with the standards of this site, then at least he is perceptive enough to realize that he should be somewhere else. We like it here BECAUSE of your standards. Period.

DeWain

Re:Dodge Motto?

Guy's. It's not just Jack's standards. It is our standards. It's our standard of quality of life. We all agreed when we signed on to the site, not because of this is what Jack wants, but because we share the same standards of conduct. This is the type of site where I'm not afraid to let my 10 year old grandson look over my shoulder (IF you could break him away from his Play Station 2 ) and be concerned about questionable material. I subscribe to Red Skeleton's type of humor. You don't need profanity or obscene gestures to share a good story or joke. Blame it on the '60s, maybe. For some unknown reason, it became acceptable to do such things. Now we're living with the "children" of that acceptance. "shuffle, shuffle" sounds of me dragging the soap box back to it's corner. I join you all in thanking Jack and all the moderators and many of you who have stepped up to the bar and said, No, that is not acceptable around here. Matter of fact, reflecting on earlier comments, I'm insulted because of the stereotyping of being called a religious fanatic. That's malarky and a few other choice words I won't use here, because we are a family site. ;D ;D ;D

~Dave

Absolutely. So you pushed a little beyond the envelope, and got called on it. Who hasn't somewhere along the line. When this thread drops off the screen, it'll be forgotten. Glad to see you're back.

Re:Dodge Motto?

just didnt want this thread to drop of the screen......

Just kidding......I just wanted to express my view here on the topic...I for one am not offended by cussing or anything of that nature, I have a pretty bad mouth myself but know when it should be controlled. However i do admire Jack for what he did because we joined on here we accepted the rules statement and they should be enforced and i think it is good that Jacks stands up for these rules as such...I also admire Hunter for being able to come back and appoligize for his actions we all cross lines that shouldnt be crossed i do it a lot and i admit it. Also thanks Hunter for clearing up what was posted I for one was wondering about it ;D and glad you came back we dont want to lose anyone!!!! Thanks Jack for this outstanding site and for keeping it that way!!!
-Ian

Glad to see everything is worked out. There is already enough hate in the world without creating more. This is a good clean site and if you want to send stuff that may be considered offensive, use e-mail and share it that way privately. Everyone stays happy that way.
