After college a friend and I would go out and drink 6-7 days a week. The bartenders were great buy one get 8 free ( really hard no to drink with that deal) I did that for two years... I am married now with twins (babies not turbos) I really don't drink that much, I used to miss it now...not so much

I am in college now so I am surrounded by it all the time and most, well about 99% of my friends drink but personally I dont. I had a real good friend I grew up with that passed away at the end of his senior year in high school when some stuff went bad and I dont want to go down that road, its just not worth it. I get made fun off alot, imagine being at a party when your the only one out of 50 people thats not drinking, I'm kinda the odd man out, but I'm only 19 years old, I got my whole life ahead of me I dont want to screw it up now, its just not worth it, instead of wasting my money on beer I can put it into my truck

Drank far too much during my University days in the early '70s, have curbed it since then. A cold beer or two on a hot afternoon, darn few hot afternoons this time of year. If you don't drink or smoke or drive a car you don't pay your fair share of taxes. Minus 7* F here tonight, wind chill -22* F, bring on the Tim Hortons.

well if I didnt drink it would be a waste of time brewing beer now wouldnt it?

This time of year I will kick back next to the wood stove with a nice Stout or Porter that I made last summer. A nice heavy beer with oak and smokey undertones and sometimes bourbon when I soak the chips in Jack. During the summer a nice IPA or IIPA hits the spot. I cant drink store bought beer anymore other than Micro brews - I mean real micro brews not Sams or Anchor Steam .
