Unhappy Diesel Website for sale??

I was over parousing some of my frequent stops and noticed that one of the Pioneers in the Cummins Diesel Websites has put his site up for sale.

Dieselram.com

That was a surprise for me, but I can understand the time constraints with family and other businesses.. I really don't know how Jack does it. Anyhow I though it was interesting.

I hope that whomever takes over for Rob does it justice.. (No disrespect Jack.. )

I have been a member there for a long time and I enjoy the free-open air of the site.. Its totally moderated by the users and it seems to maintain its integrity.

FYI ... Rob started the Cummins Diesel Website back in the late 90's and later moved (read sold it) over to the TDR.. His site was molded into the TDR format and started the first "pay" CTD site. AFter a few short years there, he started a site of his own again Dieselram.com Most of the followers from the original site are still on the DR site.

I agree the traffic is low, but thats its niche. Good luck to Rob..

Yeah I remember being on his site back in the 97-98 timeframe. After TDR took over, I slowly went my own direction. Rob came back a couple years ago, and his site has been doing pretty well as far as I know. Rob is a good guy.
