Hello,

Im going to be needing a clutch installed in the future, and surely dont want to go to a midas, aamco, etc. If theres people that do these trucks all the time, id rather go there.

If the person locally sells good clutches at reasonable prices (ie SBC, etc), then ill buy one locally, otherwise ill hold out and find one off DTR.

The main thing though is a good local Clutch installer, and maybe an installer for injectors, but im sure i can do that myself. Depends on how lazy i feel and what the price is.

So, anyone know a place around phoenix az that is a good reputable shop/individual that can do a clutch swap (preferrable same day/weekend), but i can foot it to work for a few days, no biggie.

 

Fred Swanson he is on here or TDR. Don't be a like me and buy the clutch somewhere else and have him install it (sorry bout that).

 

Ive heard of him w/ desert diesel parts but I thought they stopped public business or something of the sort?

 

This might be right. Maybe send him a PM just to ask? He might not be on here only TDR? Do a search for his name and you will find his info.

 

Fred can be hard to get ahold of. He installed my GSK about a month ago. He has a normal job of some sort, so alot of his diesel stuff is weekends.
