Why is diesel running 20 cents higher than reg unleaded during the summer months? So much for the home heating oil theory

A week or so ago it had gotten down to below 2.00 and now it is 2.23 at the cheap place. Regular gas keeps going down.

Because Scoccer-Moms and politicians don't drive diesel-powered vehicles.

Filled up yesterday evening at 2.119 - lady at counter said it went up 7 cents/gallon on Wednesday. And I got busy and didn't fill up on Tuesday like I intended to

Noticed the station near home that WAS $2.37 for diesel is up to $2.39 as of this afternoon.
Glad I've still got 30 gallons of $2.11 gallon stashed in the garage.
Unleaded was also up 2 cents/gal.
