Keep in mind that the media is the ultimate controversy feeding Law Enforcement hating machine on the face of the planet! Why do you think that they only show us what they want us to see and try to believe.

What I get from this thread is that its ok to shoot someone that is unarmed EXECUTION style since that cop adrenaline is running high from a 100mph car chase??

Something is wrong with that mentality.

In America you are guilty until proven innocent. And the cops rights takes precedence over the rights of one of our precious war veterans.

If anyone takes the time to read some of the article's about this LE guy; it seems that he has less than a stellar record (ie below average).

Cops do make mistakes and its not ok.

Most police I have dealt with are pretty good people. Although I have had a run in with some that I wouldnt give the time of day because of their "superior" attitude.

Im sure if he wanted to killing he wouldve hit the head or kept shooting.

The only "superior" attitude was the guy talkin trash to the cop.

He probably didn't care if he killed him or not. He was "in the zone" so anything the cop did was ok right?

There sure seems to be some "experts" on this topic. It's sad to see some people that display such negative feelings towards police. Unfortunately those are usually the same people who whine that the police don't do enough. The fact it has been stated the cop should be locked up, only shows a grave misunderstanding of due process and criminal law. I sure wish I could watch a 30 second news clip and become an "expert" on policing, and the all the processes involved with type of event.

Keep in mind that the right wing media ie: Limbaugh,Hannity and Fox news is the ultimate controversy feeding Left Wing hating machine on the face of the planet! Why do you think that they only show us what they want us to see and try to believe.

Just a thought.

I KNEW there was a reason I prefered Fox News over the other stations.......

ALL of them have their own agenda, and prefer to slant the news to make THEIR position look better.

Here is my 2 cents.
First, no matter what was said previously by the guy on the ground, he was told to get up, and said "I am getting up". There was no reason for the cop to shoot.
Second, he was the PASSANGER in the vehicle. Didn't the cop find him GUILTY because the driver was a real dumb ditz?

I have respect for law enforcement, I work with them almost everyday, and my wife was a cop when we met, then went to probation for the state shortly after we married. However, I do not and will not show respect someone who has no respect for me.

The problem is, some officers do not know how to control there adrenaline. After a high speed chase, they are way beyond "TICKed". It's almost like. " HOW DARE YOU RUN AWAY FROM ME, YOU SEE THIS BADGE, I AM THE MAN IN CHARGE, AND NOW YOU ARE GOING TO PAY."

Sure looks like the cop over reacted but this was after a high speed chase. The officer has a right to protect himself. Who knows how you are going to interpret movements under that kind of pressure. All of that said it obviously was a mistake. The only thing to question was the cop's intent. Also proceedure could have been alot better. Why would he ask him to get up without backup there? It seems to me that the cop had allready found him guilty by association and popped him as soon as he thought he could justify it. I think that the real problem lies with the screening of officers before they are hired. Too many cowboys are getting the chance to put on the uniform. All of that said law enforcement must be a very difficult job and because decisions must be made in an instant mistakes happen. This is one time when I hope the guy that was shot has a good attorney.

I still say no one knows enough (or has seen enough) of this situation to nail this cop yet. Show me something other than a blurry, dark, amatuer video as evidence that he did something wrong-ok, take him down. Otherwise, let the facts come out first.

Amazing how people evaluate things differently. For a while I was able to watch O'Rielly to try and evaluate the "other sides" view, but I can't bring myself to do it anymore. And that Sean Hannity needs a mental evaluation, he is just NEVER right, perhaps i should have said always RIGHT .IMHO
I will concede that everyone in the media has their own agenda's including the Left wingers, but when i am listening ,watching or reading any of them who are so intrenched in their point of view as to not be able to evaluate other points of view i move the dial.
Shucks, i even listen to Larry and Jack when my blood pressure is down enough to allow it.
