Took this picture out the window of my truck crossing a river to one of our fields a few weeks ago , the water was hitting the door handles

You just can't stay out of the deep stuff, can you?

Garden tractor - mud, farm tractor - mud, pickup truck - flood................I can't wait to see what's next!

Only problems were the brakes were obviously very wet , and they sucked for a few minutes , and my WIF light came on , but that's because the sensor has been un plugged for quite some time now.

I will see what I can come up with next Totallyrad

The latest catch phrase from our government officials down here in Texas is, "Turn around, don't drown." They started saying that because every time we get a heavy thunderstorm here in central Texas it seems like some idiot gets washed away trying to drive through rushing water. I'm guessing there wasn't much current in this river or you might not be here to show us these pictures.

...and my WIF light came on...
Gee, I can't imagine why.

I drove in water similar to that in my Dakota in 2001 (Allison). Forgot to remove the air intake from the grill (stock on the Dakotas). Cruising along real well until my wake got over the hood. Killed #1 cylinder, but drove it 17 miles back home with a real nasty rattle under the hood. Fortunately it was able to be rebuilt.

You got lucky it didn't bend the rod and/or hydrolock! Good thing it was just a Dorkota!
