Dave Goerand Kudos

I've been fighting a crazy shift in my 48RE for 2 years now.
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ad.php?t=88844

Thanks to OmahaRam and JCROMAN I emailed Dave Goerand and in 9 hours he responded with photos and a detailed set of steps to resolution!!!!

I'm not shopping for a rebuild but Dave still jumped on my question like I was spending big time money with him.
Because of this and their reputation they certainly will have my money when the time comes.

pics in gallery, E-clip has come off the the 1-2 shift control valve.

Now who wants to take my VB off???

Should I be looking to buy a new VB or just put this clip back on the existing one?

And when I say put the clip on I don't think that will be me. I have never removed a VB before so I don't think I'm going to start now.

He did the same thing with me, he was concerned about the problems I was having and wasn't even his transmission or parts. It did take his valve body and torque converter to fix the problems with it.
