Dakota
Dakota
I'd need some infos on a 97 Dakota with the V6 gasser. (Somebody threw away teh booklet )
Where can I find out which spark plugs it needs?
Where can I get a set of injectors (seem to have been damaged by an attempt to repair something else)
Any sources of info are welcome!
Thanks

Maybe http://www.dodgedakotas.com/ ??
They seemed to be close to correct. Plus, I'd recognise some of the names from the DiRT mailing list.

Alpine,
Go to the site mentioned above and click on the V-6 forum and Direct a question for Larry of J&J auto. He is the resident V-6 Mopar Guru and pretty helpful at answering peoples questions on mods.

Thanks folks!
Did a search on the board there and found exactly what I was looking for.
It's amazing what state US cars over here are in.... plugs connected wrong, fuel filter removed!!! etc. No wonder they run like (insert expletive of choice)
Maybe we're gonna go for a charger after repairing the necessary stuff. Good thing to be able to get 100 octane at every fueling station

Hehe- Got it done!
It's a customers vehicle, and he is very glad after getting quotes for a new engine (complete with electronics etc) that it just took me about 7 hours of work and research to make it run perfectly again. (Most of it was repairing errors of the other shop
)The customer is all
, the shop that billed him lots of dough for not getting it to run is in deep troubles. I think that this guy will be a repeat customer.
Thanks for all the hints and tips I always got on this site.
