Mornin all. Back at the crap pit shoveling crap again.
Taking Friday off to go fishing out of Hatteras so there. If you don't like it, that's tough.
Oh, have a nice day. (last part added to return to the politically correct side of me)

Hey Ed, wake up. If I gotta be here, you gotta be here.

I'm here.
A beautiful Spring day is in store for us.
Temps approaching 80* with sunshine.

Geezer-Glide in the lot.
I have to peel of a couple of layers of riding gear when I get to work.
Still dark on the ride in, that'll change in a week or so.
Coffee's tasting mighty good this morning.

Several small things to accomplish at work. No biggie.

On day 4 of a "Strip all the wet wallboard, insulation and carpet" out of one of the rental houses after those two days of 2+ inch rain last week.
Found out that when Wifey's Stepson "The Plumber" installed the bathroom and a new shower in the basement 2 years ago, he left a hole about 8 inches deep and a foot across in the floor of the basement (the foundation) when he built the shower drain.
Good thing he dissappeared 'bout a year and a half ago..........his screw up is gonna cost a couple of thou to fix.
A MAJOR Keester-Kickin' session will be waiting for the next time I see him.

Y'all B safe
Ed

hotdram,
Thanks for the storms Really needed something like that to get all the pollen off the truck. Power was out for a couple of hours but came back on in time to light off the coffee pot.
Ed,
I'm sending that stuff your way.
Quiet here in the Bat Cave. Only thing happening is upper level food chain shuffling and DWI on the Colorado Springs trip. It's kinda hard for those in power to make a decision on something they know absolutely nothing about. Try explaining "Nominal Ocular Hazard Distance" (how far out a laser will fry your eyeball) to someone who has done nothing more than sit behind a drafting table designing buildings Ain't it great. I love these challenges to my sanity.
Coffee's ready. Liquidofax machine is warmed up and ready to transmitt.

Apparantly you can't say "crap" here, so I'm going to edit it to say "poop".

Thursday (My Friday) morning.
Beast in the lot (calling for showers this afternoon) rear loaded with soggy drywall and insulation.
Hoping to find a contractor on base with a 20yd dumpster that'll let me dump it.
Two full bags of sacrete to fill the hole in the basement left by the "Plumber".
Tonight I'll see if that was the only spot that water was getting in.
(keeping my fingers crossed)

Whose gonna hold down the fort around here tomorrow?
DD4X4, make sure you have enough 12 ounce "sinkers". Have fun at Hatteras.
SH, about the Geezer Glide, does Geezer refer to the scooter or the rider?

off to breakfast,
