More cold air heading south? I think thats cuz of Fiverbob taking a break on the site...less hot air to hold off the fresh arctic air.

This past January was the warmest in history in Winnipeg Canada...ever.
Beat the record by 3 degrees celcius...which has many people concerned.
They feel that a change like that in over a hundred years...in just one year is severe.

Its been right around the freezing mark here for weeks. Hardly any snow too.
Farmers are nervous about lack of moisture and most of the lakes that usually have over 3ft of ice are unsafe.

Time for more

t's noon here and I'm finally crawling out of the sack My sleep has been screwed up for the past few days These all-nighter house fires tend to do that...Guess no sleep will become the norm in 8 months or so

Morning News Brief:

Hollywood likes gay cowboys, but not Johnny Cash
Somebody went postal (again)
The Democrats failed (Sorry Herb)
More cops on video tape (to many cameras)
That dude in Iran is still nuts (and Israel is sacrificing cattle already)
Kate Moss does cocaine (Wait, they just figured that out??)

Weather:
Good day to start working on a tan

Seems the world is in regular order again this morning....Think I'm going back to bed

One more Q....Why are people dredging up 6 month old threads today?

Its been a few years since I went through training to conduct safety inspections( 18 week course) but I do remember the basics if not the exact rules...
Remove the breaker... I should have KNOWN that one too!

Thanx chris!

Aye, what you say? You say it's warm up there? Who has the hot air? It's cold down here - - only reached 68 degrees today. Can't warm up the fingers enough to hit the right keys. You big ole hunk of beef - - go look in the mirror and you will fog it up. But probably mostly from bragging about that little bundle of joy. How is she doing? And Punta lady? Enjoy it, Scotty - - she will 13 before you turn around and then you will wonder what you hatched.

Have been very busy with too much stuff happening and company - - sorry, missed the morning bull session. I will try and shape up.

When I used to go aloft to do maintenance on the air search radar on my ship, I had to LO/TO the radar. I would also go aloft with the big ol' 440V/70A fuses in my pocket

Y'all have a good'un, stay safe and remember....

and does just as he pleases.
But he always remembers to wash his hands,

Morning all,
Where's the ? Dire need of it here.
In order to make the cooler someplace where we would want to hang out, would whoever burned the popcorn in the microwave during break yesterday please learn how to properly nuke things? That smell lingered all day.

Don't get yer knickers in a twist, I'm makin' it! Tryin' somethin' new... I put a piece of tin foil with one small hole in it, in the bottom of the filter basket, and I'm usin' the old grounds left over from yesterday. Should make it a tad stronger and it'll save us a TON of money if I can get 2 or even maybe 3 uses outta the same amount of coffee! Lemme know how ya like it!

Oh, and that wasn't popcorn neither. I had worn my heavy insulated boots yesterday, and the day turned out warmer than I thought it would, so I was dryin' my sweaty socks. Sorry 'bout that!

Oh ... it was your socks !! We thought it was an impromptu chemical weapon drill ... we didn't get to relax the gas masks until noon when the boss started getting hungry !!

Shortround ... I will be posting your words of wisdom in the unit washrooms this evening on my security round.

Hee hee, someone warned my Shortround had a bee up his fanny so I had ear plugs in - - yeh - - slept to 7:15. Na na nana na.

Gorgeous day down here again after a chilly one yesterday. 73 and bright sun - - breakfast on patio listening to the water fall, birds singing, parrots squaking, Sand Hill Cranes sounding like prehistoric creatures, squirrels crawling the cage waiting for some walnuts - - nice. Think I will take the rest of the day off - - since I haven't done anything all day anywho.

Hmmm, sounds good - - some nice music, relax in the sun in Scotty's pink Speedo.

That stuff will reach critical mass if you let it toast long enough. Threw the popcorn and the micro both away after someone did that at work. It was still snap cracklin and poppin the whole way to the dumpster. And had some stank on it too.
