OHHHHHHHHH! Monday.
Note to self:
Do NOT under any circumstances, play volleyball with a bunch of younger relatives at a picnic. I hurt in places I forgot I had.
About 3 hours of sleep in between chasing down the ferocious "Killer Cricket" in the house last night.
Judging by the sound he HAD to be at least a foot long.
Finally tracked him down at 0330 this AM, when he made the mistake of chirping when I still had the light on.
He ended up being about 1/2 inch long.
Man them things can make some racket.
Gonna drop him off to the taxidermist today and tack his sorry keester over the fireplace.
Ya'll have a safe day.

man I need that! Spent the weekend partying with some buddys heading for the desert.......now I remember why I dont drink!
Well another beautiful day here in the heartland...supposed to be i the 70's-80's and sunny all week, I know we're goin to wind up paying for this weather somehow, but its sure nice to have . Sympathies for the Florida folks.
Gonna spend the week working horses, and trying to get chores caught up around the ranch. Anyone know how to fix a sagging porch? Thinking of jacking it up and shoving a whole lot of dirt under it and calling it good.

I'm madder'n a wet bob cat trapped in a phone booth.
We need a safety course on intersection safety, for these people that come around here, on not pulling out in front of someone, especially someone in an 8000 pound truck. This truck has something like 34 lights burning so the guy can't tell me he didn't see me but yet, he pulls right out in front of me when I'm about 40 feet away. So, I'm jammin on the anchors with the Jacobs just a howling and everything else I can think of to slow down to keep from hitting this idiot. It's a good thing it's not open season on idiots for sure.
What gets me is if I would have done that to him, he would have more than likely flashed the lights, blowed the horn, told me I was number one, and a few other thing more than likely. So what gives? Is two or three seconds worht the rest of your life, especially coming to work?
