Mine is done after my last 8 wk use.
Its an oversized lazy Bob, i mean Boy that's over a decade old.
Next one will not be a rocker recliner. Just a recliner. Might even opt for a handle on either side.

Picture me not able to use the rt handle and needing the facilities and my wife was upstairs, sound asleep.
Leather cleans up not bad.

Cougar - - so glad all is coming back together again. Not fun being in the horsepital a long time, then come home - - it is like another world.

Hey Scotty - - once you got going, you sound like your old self again - - whatever that is...........

I was bequeathed a neat recliner and have it in my office. It has a control in the pocket on the side. Pull the switch back and it goes almost horizontal. Push it the other way and it lifts you and stands you up. I think my friend was anticipating my deterioration for some reason. Wonder why? Just because he did???? Hmmm???? Anywho, some nights when I can't sleep I will go in there and sack out. Very comfy. Close to the ph00 pot. I can play on the peuter. Read. Don't bother the blonde. Neat.

Finally finished the dumb valve set. Hate plumbing. Think I would rather pump out septic tanks. Uhhhh????? ...................Well, on second thought, maybe just clean toilets.

Sure pretty down here today - - 78 degrees, gentle breeze. Gorgeous - - and me stuck in the tub all day. BBBBOOOOOOOO

....................................Ph00..................

Playing one on one basketball today.
Oh my is my daughter fast.
She was scouted for a AAA basketball team for this winter.
Practice starts in June.
We're ramping it up now.

I feel like I'm still gaining ground and energy.
Had my Canadian commercial physical and USDOT physicals last week. Better then ever!

Hey buddy - - that is all good news. You had me worried for a while. Thought I might have to come back up there and shape you up. Hang tough
and behave. And that munchkin of yours is going to be quite the young lady when she grows up - - hmmm, all ready is now that I think about it.

Doc appointment early in the morn, so hitting the old sack a bit early. Somebody have the ph00 on for me when I get home - - OK????

Bob

Other than the vacuum, broom, and a couple other small things, everything is now moved.

Raining, pretty good. Hoping to get a message in the morning "stay home". Then I can go back to bed.

Something's got to break. I'm getting along OK and have some money in the bank. Something always breaks as soon as I have a few extra bucks.

Once planting is done I am going to get a good toolbox to put all my tools in. I noticed the other day that the shelf I commandeered for my tools is starting to gather some other stuff that's not mine.

Moved the one-tripper to a field that didn't get rained on today. Shot a few second video. The machine is wider than the 2 lanes of pavement.

Scotty a friend's daughter was top on triple jump and third in long jump in the state. Or the other way around. Last I heard.

Mornin gang. Such a nice day yesterday, I took a walk around the yard. The more I move around, the better I get around. The Dr would probably say I'm pushing it. Hey, if it don't hurt don't sweet it. Spring is coming to life in the north land. Things are greening and budding everywhere. Mosquitoes and ants are out as well.
Step mom had one of those ejection seats. Every time she would use the power lift it would tip over and dump her on the floor. Dad got tired of calling the fire department to help put her back upright, so he got rid of it and bought here a fancy 1 ton powered wheel chair. He also got an electric chain hoist for over here bed.

Electric might be the better choice over diesel indoors.
They did good.

Good morning folks. Been running too fast this week to drop by. Still running. Boy, this retired life is b-u-s-y! No time for myself.

Lary, thanks for the coffee. Will have one as soon as I finish my lime juice and honey. It's a bit too hot to bottoms up right now.

Glad to see that all the el sickos on this site are getting better. I am talking physically better only. Their mental well being is another matter. Not going to mention any names eh.

Know what you mean, Big Stan. Working on reducing my personal load. No time for things I "want to do" rather than "have to do." Have projects that are way too old untouched. Going to change.

Off to the vampire.

Greetings
I too have noticed some folks with mental issues on here.
I just accept them as they are.

BobbyDependable makes a good point.
I'm reducing the number of 'extra' commitments a lot this summer.
Reigning it in.

Need more time for LEGGS.

Have a question for some of you tool 'spurts.

I need a 3/8" drive and a 1/2" drive socket set. This will be used and abused by all and sundry (not professionals), so am wondering if it is a waste of money to purchase a real cheap set because they could get easily broken. So now the question is what brand of sockets to buy and where to buy them.

I am driving up to the States at the end of the month to buy these and more stuff, so can go to HF, Sears (Craftsman) and other stores. Places like Sears are more money, but in this situation, would HF be a wise choice? Do HF have different quality of socket sets? Any other suggestions? Any warranty is of secondary consideration because if a tool is broken it means another trip to the states to have it replaced.

Breakage is one consideration. Cheap sockets tend to be thicker to compensate for poorer metal and consequently they won't fit in some places.

Another thing that's happened to me more than once with cheapies is that they may off dimension enough to be useless. That fact is usually discovered beside the road about 800 miles from home when I need it.

I find that the key sizes tend to get misplaced long before they're worn out or broken. Yesterday I needed a sheet metal tool......was at the son's new apartment. Plowed up some fallow ground behind the garden and dug up 2 fence posts (one wrapped about 4 turns around the tiller shaft) and a hand sickle, well rusted with the handle completely digested off it. Guess one of the kids got distracted when moving the fence about 20 years ago.

For reasonable priced (so I can afford to lose them) and still usable, I've found Stanley to be a fairly good buy.

I've wrapped up Craftsman long handled box end wrenches like a horse shoe. For the price, they ain't much.

Watch out for Harbor Freight "lifetime" warranty. If it doesn't say it right on the product wrapper, which you've kept, it's 90 days. For little used tools, that's some time after the first use (which broke it). Don't ask how I know.
