Hmmmm, your welcome home and then the roll is kinda giving me a mixed message. OK, it's Christmas, so will ignore any bad vibes.

Lary, never taken notice, but it is possible that these ads are appearing when I am not logged in. Now that I know this, will take note in future.

Thanks to everybody who has welcomed me back. Will try to pop in here a bit more often in future. You guys can figure out if that is a threat or a promise. Got the mighty Cummins roaring again. As expected, it fired up like it had only been shut down for 15 minutes. Oil pressure came up immediately. Tested the batteries individually before connecting them and one is down to 11.75 volts. The other one was 12.75 as usual, so hope that this is not indicative of a future problem. They are Sears batteries, only 2 years old and have a 8 year warranty.

That's funny. I always think of Denmark as being covered with snow during the winter.
Probably from reading Hans Christian Andersen stories like The Snow Queen.

Hope you have a good Christmas Slev.

The ads on this site are becoming obnoxious.

I think he was just showing you how happy we are you made it back.

-Very nice to have you back on this continent. I never feel quite right unless I can walk home from where ever I am.
-The excess baggage deal is amazing. Never heard of it before.
I always figured they were just gouging us for as much money as they could but for them to not take it at all is wild.
-I am still not ever seeing any ads unless I forget to log in.
I am just running widows 7, ie explorer 11 and Microsoft security essentials and Secunia PSI (free version).
Weird.

Some times I can't sleep because I worry about my wife figuring out that her Mom was right.
She really could have done a lot better than me.

As for all the pop up ads..what kind of anti spyware and ad tracker software are you using? How often do you update your browser, your java and your flash to be sure it is all current as well? All these things must be updated constantly in order to fight against hackers and a downside of not updating is a page will not load it will just freeze and you will have trouble accessing the site.
Lary - - I keep everything UTD as much is possible. I use IE 11 and update it automatically as does the antivirus. I did locate a file that had downloaded somehow for that Webexp Enhanced and deleted it. My antivirus highlighted it as unknown and possibly dangerous but I just found that today, so have not tested it much yet. I did not the words in your post were no longer colored and underlined. We will see. Thanks.

Happy rolls... I have lots of them around my middle. Until now I've thought of them as 'love handles'.

It's Tuesday, December 24th.

1814 - The War of 1812 between the U.S. and Britain was ended with the signing of the Treaty of Ghent in Belgium.

1818 - Franz Gruber of Oberndorf, Germany composed the music for "Silent Night" to words written by Josef Mohr. <And here I was thinking it was what the angels were singing when Jesus was born.>

1851 - A fire devastated the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, destroying about 35,000 volumes.

1865 - Several veterans of the Confederate Army formed a private social club in Pulaski, TN, called the Ku Klux Klan.

1914 - In World War I, the first air raid on Britain was made when a German airplane dropped a bomb on the grounds of a rectory in Dover.

1943 - U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt appointed Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower supreme commander of Allied forces as part of Operation Overlord.

1944 - A German submarine torpedoed the Belgian transport ship S.S. Leopoldville with 2,235 soldiers aboard. About 800 American soldiers died. The soldiers were crossing the English Channel to be reinforcements at the battle that become known as the Battle of the Bulge.

1968 - The crew of the U.S. Navy ship, Pueblo, was released by North Korea. The Captain of the Pueblo, Commander Lloyd M. Bucher, and 82 of his crew were held for 11 months after the ship was seized by North Korea because of suspected spying by the Americans.

1968 - Three astronauts, James A. Lovell, William Anders and Frank Borman, reached the moon. They orbited the moon 10 times before coming back to Earth. Seven months later man first landed on the moon.

1998 - At Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, a tourist was hit by a piece of flying metal while waiting to board a ride. The man's wife and a Disneyland employee were also injured. Luan Phi Dawson died December 26th from his injuries.

2000 - The "Texas 7," seven convicts that had escaped a Texas prison, robbed a sports store in Irving, TX. The suspects killed Officer Aubrey Hawkins, stole $70,000, 25 weapons and clothing. The men had escaped on December 13.

Good morning on this fine Christmas eve. Is it still Christmas EVE if I am up before the sun comes up?

Snagged a cuppa ph00. Not bad, thanks Bob. It goes well with the gingerbread cookies that I am dipping into it. Left some more gingerbread cookies on the counter for you early risers. If there are none left by the time you get here, too bad. Either you got up too late or the janitor gobbled them all. Maybe the dragon likes cookies and he/she ate them. Never did figure out if the breakroom dragon is a male or female.

Read today's thot. Thot and thot about it and am with Bob. HUH? Scott, care to elaborate on this for us simpletons?

Family coming today for Christmas dinner. The family tradition here is to have it on the 24th, which then allows each individual family to then go out and do their own things together.

Still suffering a bit of jet lag, but today so far feel that I am finally getting my act together.

Going back to the advertising here. Signed in or not, I still see advertising. Now that I am back in Mexico, the advertising is in Spanish. While I was in China, it was in Chinese.

Boy, the breakroom sure is dead. I remember the days when by now there would be many more pages than just a mere 3 pages filled by now. What happened?

It's an abstract thought for deep thinkers.

I'm Bewildered is what happened. I don't think people want to wade thru all the junque and wait forever just to have a blank page or an error message show up on their screen. I have to run all kinds of pop-up managers and ad blockers just to keep the aggravation time to a minimum, and it still isn't great. I've heard all kinds of explanations as to why this or that happens but the bottom line is that no other site has the issues I have with this one.

Scotty, I think those cold temperatures have frozen your brain. Perfect Christmas weather does NOT have a minus number in front of it. How about +27 - 30 instead? Green grass too. Ask Bob.
