Chevy wheels
Chevy wheels
Does anyone know or can tell me where to find the load limit for these wheels? I want to put this style on my horse trailer.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I had a couple sets of those, don't remember for sure, but I thought they had the weight rating stamped either somewhere on the wheel hub, or on the inside of the wheel, if not then check the door tag of a 2001-up 3/4 ton chevy, might get lucky there. IIRC though they are rated pretty high, I know they were made by alcoa. Good luck and if you find the rating post it up here, might help someone in the future.
Alcoa made the early ones then a company in Hungary started making them. But I think both are a tough wheel , nobody seems to prefer one over the other. Not sure what year the switch was.
They are called PYO's .
GM is pretty tight lipped about giving out their rating,
the stock tires that came on those were 245's , which are rated @ 3042lbs,
so we know the wheels are at least that.
Seems like most of the chevy guys figure 3200 , there are numbers stamped on them but not the weight rating.
They are only 6.5" wide, I think that's the reason a lot of guys took them off.
