Champion generator review
I'm pretty sure the motors in my gens are Lifans also. I have a Lifan in my Golf cart too. It has been a great motor and the gen motors are almost identical except they use the tapered shaft I assume. Never had to open one of them up. I hate buying Chinese, but sometimes you do it as an affordable thing at the moment. With these they have actually been a good buy.
I have one of the 3500/4000 units too. Very good for my uses.
I did not get the wheel kit. I need a wheel kit. Anyone know the part number for that?
I thought we were going to need the generator yesterday as we received several hours of freezing rain, then more snow. Power flickered a few times and that was it.

Scott - you can get wheels etc for it cheap at PrincessAuto. I don't mean a kit, but generic wheels, mounting bolts etc. if you need a pic of what the end product should look like, let me know.
A lot of the cheap wheels are CHEAP! I bought 4 from Harbor Freight for our generator as it didn't come with a wheel kit either. What I found was that the rims on most of the cheap pneumatic wheels are a 2 piece arrangement that are bolted together, and when you run them around a corner the 2 halves are so thin that they bend. If the wheel is within an inch of something, (like what it's mounted to), it will rub or stop altogether, depending on how much it bent. I don't imagine all that bending is doing the tube any good either. I changed them to foam filled tires with 1 piece rims before anything happened.
Here's a pic of the kind I'm talking about. You can see the 4 bolts that hold the 2 rim halves together;

I have a friend of mine that travels into the USA weekly. His mission is to secure the factory wheel kit with handles on his next trip. My mission is to find the kit at a store on his route.
I went to Mission Impossible the other night. Can you tell?
Ghost Protocol was decent.

You might find that the factory handle is a little lame. My screen name suggests my height and the factory handle was a joke for me. I had to walk around like the Hunchback of Notre Dame I used it. That does sound like a reasonable price for the kit though.
