Back to the cold stuff I guess... 33 here and windy this AM. 70 yesterday. Got the dam done yesterday, today I get to play with 5 acres of leaves. Joy.

I just noticed that this thread has 8 pages, over 100 replies, almost 1300 views, and it's still only Friday. Just goes to show you how popular it can be when it has the proper name!

Guess I should get goin' on those leaves, weatherman just said snow for tomorrow.

Have a good'un!

Hey, coffee is fresh - - not bad, Scott - -even for a guy who does not appreciate foo foo coffee. But I sure wish you would watch those 4 letter words - - oh yeh, that was three letters - - oh well, make good coffee but can't speele viry goud.

Wow, another gorgeous day here - - house wide open with breezes blowing thru, 68 degrees this morning heading for 77 - - what a day. Pool will be frisky, but good for sun tan. Gotta go get my omlette - - the blonde is treating me this morning. Got up late - - lazy lazy - - bad boy.

Is that a way of saying small minds think alike?????

Nick-names could be a whole 'nuther thread, but would probably run the risk of somemajor "lockage" considering some of the personalitys around here, and what those who know them must call them....
I know a few of the BOSS's nick-names for me would sure keep the locksmiths busy!!!

COlD here today, but no snow yet( thank you , y'all can keep it up north where it belongs)
in teh 80's yesterday and a high of 45 today......glad i got the day off to sit in the warmth and think of all those who made it possible for me to be sitting here warm and safe.( while many of them are currently cold, hot, thirsty, tired, hurt, lonesome,or generaly not having a good time)
THANK YOU ALL............your in my daily prayers....

Bob, Dont you think that pic would make Chaikwa a good avatar? .....hmmm maybe some quick-minded admin type will think of that................. ( insert evil laugh here)

Well, another day down the drain. Decided to take a ride with the wife to the Veterans Memorial in Louisville. Great trip, until the return part.

Had a severe DW at about 70 mph. Was in the middle lane surrounded by other vehicles. Man, they scattered. I got it caught at about 35 and grabbed the shoulder. Everything is new except for the control arm bushings and the gearbox. Guess I'll try the bushings first.

Hope your weekend is a good one, and thank a vet.

Ed

My 98 did the same thing a year or so ago. I replaced what I guess is the control arm... that round bar that goes from the front crossmember to the front axle. that seems to have cured it as I've had no DW since.

Got my leaves all collected today. Now it's windy and gettin' cold. Still sayin' snow for tomorrow. Now I can service the mower and put it away for the season.

Evening 's on, dig in.
