You are dealt an ace and a 2, so that is either 3 or 13. Correct?
What if you take a hit and it's another ace, is that also either 1 or 11?
Guy at work says it's 11. I thought it's either.

An ace and a 2 is 13 or 3. 2nd ace makes it a 14 or 4. Keep it a 1 and can make it to a 5 card Charlie.
