If it doesnt warm up soon, Im going to have to look for my winter coat...

-20 this morning here. Thats ambient air temp, w/ windchill -45. Truck started and sounded like there was a jackhammer under the hood, but she's still running. You guys ever notice all the rattles and creaks these things make when they are good and cold? I wish I could fit the rig in the garage!-Steve

Not quite as cold here tonite, about -31 and a slight breeze.

I did have to make a run with the new rig, took about 1 minute to get oil pressure.. Sheesh, I have to get the 0W40 into that thing RFN.

You know its cold when you try to shift from 1st to 2nd and the truck comes to a stop faster than you can shift. The cold diffs, transfer case and tranny all were sluggish today.

Fergit this...

Does someone in the deep south have a spare couch for a few months? Mexstan, I'm coming to visit....

-52F this morning, before the wind chill I noticed the Enivironment Canada website didn't make mention of the wind chill, so I guess their thermometer doesn't read that low.
