There is a song that played on 95.9 the Ranch last year along with a few other Texas country stations. I haven't heard it since at least before summer and I am feeling the need to hear it again, the problem is I can't remember who the singer was or the name of the song, I can't even remember much of the lyrics.
All I can remember is the girl had a beautiful voice, and it sounds like it should be the new state anthem for Texas.
So knowing that its a female singer, the song is about Texas, and it started playing sometime mid 2007, how many possibilities are left?

It was not a Nashville kind of artist. I think the song mentions "Lone Star flag forever fly", I can't be sure Texas was actually said in the song, but I want to say San Antonio and Bob Willis were mentioned.

It was a girl singing it, and I'm pretty sure she was a Texas country artist, not like Sugarland whom just happen to be from Texas.
It's along the lines of "Between the Red and the Rio Grande", but that isn't the song.
