What would you charge per linear foot to dig a 2' x 2' ditch?

ther are a lot more factors involvled,
whats in the ground?
how open is the area your working in?
what type of soil are you digging thru?
how long is the trench?

Always the digging is pretty straight forward. Nevada ground, mainly sandy soil. Very open area. I purchased a mini excavator and a guy wants a linear foot price for block wall footing. Thanks...
