I am in Southern California in the San Gabriel Valley.
30 miles from Los Angeles, 30 miles from Huntington Beach and 30 miles from Crystal Lake mud hole.
Today it was 80* and probably live the only place I can work on my truck in February with short sleeves.
I just recently saw my second 1st Gen Cummins and it was a beater actually so was the first.

Just curious.
If some of you guys that live here in CA hate it so much and seem to think it's a communist or **** controlled state, why are you here? Just leave and be free from all that.
I disagree with a lot of stuff here too, but I know I'm free to leave if I want to. And so are you. Meanwhile, there is a lot of opportunity, fabulous weather, beautiful scenery, and a lot of great people to enjoy while I'm here.
So what's up with the ridiculous labels and naive comparisons?

I'd love to live there. I would love to live some where warm year round where I could surf and snowboard and all kinds of fun stuff, Its great here but I just would love to get away from all the rain and what not, lol.
Cali sun.
That's what keeps me here. Our cost of living is quite low since we bought our house twenty-two years ago. Home values are correcting if we can get everybody who wants to work back to it.
wait what happened to this post i thought you were looking for a new group now we are talking about **** germany and the weather?lol i would love to get out of california and go to alaska montana or nevada but jobs arnt all that easy to come by up there
its just a post about cali in general and i was curious about how many guys were in my area. the only chapter closest to me doesnt seem to be to active, but hopefully the next left coast diesel dyno days i will be there.
