Haha. That reminds me of the time I loaded the jetski in my Subaru Legacy. Passenger and I had to put our seats as far forward as possible to fit it, and we are both 6'2". The ski went between both our seats and was about an inch from touching the windshield. It made shifting a little more fun on the 1.5hr drive too. Wish I had pictures of that circus.

I'd be interested in a boat with more power, but this one is cheap and I figure I could just sell it for at least what I pay for it. Might pick it up this weekend unless people finally talk me into spending more on a powerful one.

Man, for 500 bucks I say get the dang thing and dont look back! Those old Kawasaki stand ups are a blast to ride, and cheap as heck to maintain, especially if you are primarily using it in fresh water. I've had a number of them over the years, (440's, 550's, and 650's) and dont regret it at all. In my opinion, the bigger heavier faster sit down ski's get boring to ride after a few tanks of fuel, but the highly maneuverable stand up never gets old for me. I've owned stand-ups since 1995 and still have 2 today! They are sooooooooo much more challenging to ride, and you never truly "tame" them either, which keeps the "adrenaline factor" high! I like leaning all the way over in sharp turns at high speed like one of those world superbike motorcycle racers, where you are almost perpendicular to the water and the only thing holding you there is centrifugal force! Drag a foot thru the turns and pitch them sideways, you can do all kinds of stunts & tricks on a stand up that a sit down ski is just incapable of.

Every time i get a high performance sit down, I always end up tiring of it rather quickly and selling it within a year or two. Only thing they are good for is when you wanna take a chick for a scenic cruise or something.
