ya could say that - just looked up where it is 
way down on the left side of the transmishion,
they say ya can dissasemble it and clean it with electrical contact cleaner
on the bright side of things - i have spare transmishions - out of the veicle-
guess i could check it out there
if nessary pull one of them ( i know they were working ) and replace the one on the wifes jeep - ( its just the laying out in the snow that i really object to
