I can move it and squeeze my hand without pain for the first time in two years, and I'll tell you, I feel like a new man. Doc told me to hold off on lifting until Monday, I'm gonna take it easy for a few weeks.

I might need some juice from you.
We did the juice twice. Pain increased the first couple of days...then it disappeared for 72 hrs and then came back. Now its constant. Typing is a hassle, turning the ignition on the truck etc etc. As long as it sits still and I do not move it...it just aches. Holding a pen...brushing my teeth...very painful after the first couple of motions.
Try injections of WD-40.

I'd have a sling on and tape it to my side.

No, the other juice.

Speak for yourself toots. We're transformers. We just reach out and pull the broken parts back in and put them back on.

Well Sports Fans

500,000 people without power. Up to 10 days before all are restored. Wonderful!

That 13KW has been running for 24 hours so far

It's a generac stationary with automatic transfer switch. So it kicks on automatically and shuts down the same. It's fueled by natural gas. Endless supply.

I had to laugh. I went out around midnight and people were standing out in front of my house staring. I gotta say it was odd to look around and not be able to see two houses down the street

It´s always good to be prepared, and I can imagine those neighbours faces.
You don´t know what you got, untill you lost it, ain´t that how it goes, it counts for electricity too, everything comes to a complete stop.
I remember being sent home from work one December morning, the power was gone, and nobody knew when it was coming back, honestly, the boss almost burst into tears saying, " you can´t even see enough to sweep the floor, yall better go home".
Good thing he didn´t stand in the door, that wouldn´t have done him any good, 30 or so guys stampeeding to their cars.

Take care in the snow.

That is nuts. You can forget that crap. I'm sitting out here in shorts and flip flops drinking a beer... it's 6 pm and 86 degrees in my shop.

I am the one that wants to move up north, tho. I'm gonna have foot thick concrete walls, tho...

Evenin, all.

Worked on my truck a little, got the bike fixed kinda... listen to this crap... last weekend I went to tune my carbs, broke a fuel line, so I didn't fool with the bike this week. Got her going tonight, tuned the carbs up good, not too hard to do, but about a good hour and a half. Got it where I wanted it, put everything back together, then realized my choke was a click out... CRAP!

Guess I'll just run it with the choke a click out, huh?

Arm still feels great. Gonna be careful with it, too.

Beer!!!

OK Who's the smart butt who edited my post???!!! Sheeesh

YAWN - - - STRETCH -- - ROLL OVER -- - QUIT THE YELLING, MAN. Just cause you can't sleep, let us alone. ................

Ya know, Lary - - at least you could put on fresh coffee and ph00 - - and some sprinkles. Such compassion!!!! .....

OK, fresh stuff is on - - ran to the dumpster and grabbed some day old something - - looks good and smells good, so it is on the counter among all the other "stuff." Grab the coffee before the crazee Canuck comes and messes it up.

To the doc this morning, then off and conquer the world - - well, don't know about that, but maybe my little corner of the world - - and conquer, don't know about that either. Just make a dent in it today and that will make me happy. Ya'll have a gudurn.

If it's a new week, why are the days always the same?

Mornin, everyone. Rice crispies when I get out of bed... snap, crackle and pop. I guess this is what my dad talked about all those years ago.

Of to PT.

had to look at the poster twice...sounds like a MADHAT post (86 degrees, working on Jap bike, arm hurts, drinking beer) did he EDIT instead of post?
drank gas instead of beer?

and I know it isn't 40 below in jersey....

Polar, hope you stay comfortable and no knocks on your door for cheap heat disguised as sudden requests for neighbor visits or borrowing sugar....lol

chores, cleaning, pay the bills and then go to the trainer for a real workout...

Morning.

I don't like cold weather. I like warm weather. 500mls too far north.
