Dang, if it wasn't for the wiring I'd say let's stock some trout. How long did it stay like that?

I have a grove pump... it flows some mean water. I could have that thing cleaned out in no time!

What's for lunch?

Hey, DC, hope you feel better. I've been fighting something for about 2 weeks now, but it's good...

Rented a 2000gph sub-pump and it took 5 hours to drain...
wiring is still good, just had to replace the sump-pump, a few breakers andthe pressure switch to the well pump.
Don water is flowing in at about 5 gallons every 4-6 minutes right now( judging by how often the sump is kicking on)..so i am guessing the sump pump went out around midnight and we found it around 10am...
I think if it happens again, I am going cut all the wiring, run new stuff somewhere else , and fill the whole **** thing in with concrete.......
I just dont know what happened that it suddenly starteed coming in like this tho, its not like we had an earthquake or somethign.. nothings been done around the foundationor house that should have caused the sudden increase in the water flow....just got me stumped...unless it has something to do with how much ice and snow we got over the winter.

that had to be a lot of water flowing, to fill a basement that fast, at least you didn't have major damage.

you dont htink it has anything to do with 9 extra inches of rain so far this month do you???

We should be about three inches by now, instead, we are at 12 inches of rain.

Chrisreyn: Don’t let the county find out. They will start taxing you for an indoor pool. Hope you get it figured out.

AkTallPaul: My dear old Mothers recipe for corned bear is wonderful. Takes almost a week to prepare but better than any corned beef. Beaver: yuck. Porcupine: Guess you have to be hungry, I didn’t like it. Raven: never tried it (supposed to be bad luck).

Chris, the double sump is a good thing to have. Not fun having all that moisture down there with green stuff growing on the walls.

Heidi sounds like she is moving around good.

OK, mama's calling for din din - - taking my foo foo with me - - see ya,
