Mornin

Still dark here whats with all the noise. Can't see past the light going out the window. I know it's not snowing and I can't hear the wind screaming so maybe it's going to be an ok day.

Ex boss phoned wants me to go back to work for a few months (4)... don't know if I want to. Extra money might be alright but it's doing 4 ethylene furnaces. Re-tubing is a pain, crawling around on your hands and knees because some engineer didn't design them to be worked on. Maintenance free is what they said when they started them up. Sure sure...forgot when you run them at 120% or more steady that they seem to break down. Decisions decisions...

Hat gets beer for breakfast? Whats with that?

Mornin all,

NW Houston, low 60's and partly sunny, T-storms in the focast.

ChrisR sorry to learn of the loss of your dog. We lost ours last year. Got out and hit by a car a few miles from home. It was a relief known what happened to her.

Spent most of yesterday with sister. No surgery, sling for about 6 weeks or more. No other dislocations. Go there tomorrow and program her new cordless phone. She and her son are going to senior citizen day at the dog track. Cheap eats, a buffet, not the dogs. Ca Ame home and fixed ratburgers on the propane grill. Wife had collard greens. She eats them raw, with a potlikker of coffee and bacon grease, and the bacon crumbled on the top. Aguired taste.

Prudent student is gettging burned out with work and school. Only case studies she did last night was NCSI and Law and Order. AT

FASTHAT, wow your truck will be a screamer.

CIN, thanks for the goodies.

Got other things to do, be back later.

Have a good un and be safe out there.

Wink Hey All! fill up and POST anyone!!!! let's hear from ya..

Take it a bit slow today Chris....do the simple NON thinking chores (stack wood, string a fence, or clear clutter off the desk etc....) helps balance the conscience.. You got a lot of tough guys here pullin' ya through, they have been there..virtual comfort I guess hope today is sunny for you.

I do the hydraulic valves and route the hoses, place down riggers. don't have the back hoe hooked to the tractor yet for a test, super hubby restricted everything- i stay away from the barn. Scott you did fine, we spread the points out at 45 degrees and three inches forward, it does well.
HAD to stop that quick bolt on a break open valve! wow, you get workign and forget to barely crack the lever and WHAM! it would rock the tractor.
oak, hemlock, walnut...definitely not light stuff to be whipping around. I have no cage either. I am bulletproof, not tree resistant......

Methusula is from greek lore...and it's a old witch with snakes for hair and looks that freeze the observer to stone. anyone you know, Mad?

DON redleg, yes, plans changed, we will be stopping at Chaikwa cave Monday and on...depending on what projects he can find for us or just shoot the breeze.. sounds Like I don't want to bring the one ton with trailer up your road, fer sure! power ain't nothing without traction....

make a comfortable decision there, Ljobb.... knees are more valuable than bucks sometimes..LOL

THANKS CIN! for the instant stuff- always needed and always chocolate.
Did you tell the fellas you won Miss DTR Breakfast ???????? hehe

ok, kicking my butt off the 'puter to swim.

Trad I have a jackhammer question for ya, but will PM ya later.

Afternooer all,

BIG THUNDER BOOMERS now

Medusala, think I dated her in college. Sure glad there are people on the older that I list. Will not name names.

SR you don't have to teach them everything, just most things. Oh your poncho will show up when you come in sogged to the rear axle from the rain.
Murphy's law 381. Find somthing after it is no longer needed.

Wanna be have a good trip out that way.

Old dog, you dig yourself out yet?

ChrisR you working to night? Its tuff when you lose a faithful pet. Been there many times. Wife is thinking next dog will be a black mouth cur.

FO no you don't work harder in vacation, easy stuff, just a full job jar. And work slower. Same in retirement. I don't do much, but it takes a long time to do it.

04 sold the lumber to the boat builder, wow anything for a sheckle. That was when it had a TEXAS rain, 40 days and 40 nights, and God plugged up the storm sewers. Or something like that.

Time to go fix "hunters chicken" from the concintration camp cook book.

Have a good un and be safe out there.

48sets of 3 tubes in six furnaces two are 2" one is 3", double y at the bottom.
Other 5 have 24 sets of 6" tubes in an W design all are 44 or so ft long in the vertical position. The tubes have 35% chrome and 45% nickel content.
