Got the weekend duties here at the Bat Cave. In early trying to get some equipment fixed and back to the deploying units. Lots of long days right now and I'll sure be glad when they roll out for Camp Shelby so things will get back to "normal".

Wow, you must be out in the Berkshires somewhere. Went up to Chester NH last night and the coldest it got while I was there was 17*. 21* here in Merrimac right now.

Gonna be kinda chilly standin' outside, watchin' the Christmas parade today, but it's been 7 years since I've seen it. I WANNA SEE SANTA!

Not many people in here this AM, but I'll make more coffee.

Mornin' all,

Houston, partly cloudy and 75*F so far. Watering the new planted flowers and sodded lawn.
Wife was up untill 0300 doing schools work. She was out getting a CHRISTMAS
tree. Not a holiday tree, not a family tree, a CHRISTMAS tree.

She will be back with her nose in the books soon.

Hope the storm did not batter any of you too hard. Looked like a bad one from the news.

HAT thanks for the invite to the Olive Garden, won't make it this week
Good thought tho.

CIN, thanks for the package, and you left out the fruit cake

Job jar has bring in the CHRISTMAS decorations, get some honey nut snack bars and single serving zappit kettle korn. Also going to drip the spare on the truck, rean in one of the posts that there can be rust problems with the cable.

ChrisR, nice job on getting the break room open.
Fronty, keep track of the days, and where you are. It can be tuff at times traveling so much.

SR, are you safely away from the edge of the earth now?

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

Davey,
Hadn't been near the edge in a few weeks. These guys are so far out, UPS only delivers on Wednesdays.
Rain has started and temps dropping. At least it's a quickie and will be out of here in a couple of hours.
Hate having temporary help. Had a bunch of sights he ran and placed in three piles, good, fixable, and ship to depot. Can't remember which pile is which and I got to go through them again this morning. Didn't even make any notes on the work orders. He ain't coming back.
Since I'm in charge and the only one here, I'm giving myself a bit of early liberty and go to the house.

Just got back from the Christmas parade... outta the 10,000 people there I think I knew exactly 4! Used to be that I'd know practic'ly ev'ryone there but not anymore. So many people have moved into this little town that there ain't any 'townies' left anymore. Oh well, the parade was fun to watch anyway.

Claude, heard from Carrie our barn manager this mornin'. She said all they got in K'zoo was a buncha ice. Better'n snow tho I guess. Hosses were slippin' all over the place on their way to the paddocks!

The afternoon coffee is drippin' as we speak.
