Was al oner for dinner tonight so I went out to a local restaurant/bar and had a nice steak and shrimp dinner and a couple Shiners. It rained here this evening too. Had a nice heavy and steady rain for a couple hrs, we did need too. At least I don't have to water the garden or the lawn now. The GF had a job interview today, one yesterday, an another tomorrow. Hopefully one of these work out for her, she's been laid-off since the end of Jan. The job market really does suck now, especially in this area.

Anyone miss me?
Awright, did anyone notice I was gone then?
Ahhh... nevermind. I'm back. Coffee's ready for the mornin, along with the tea's and ph00's. And just WHO the heck cleaned the pot? You know how long it takes to get it to the stage where it imparts a little taste to the coffee? It's gonna takes DAYS to get it back close to normal!

Dang ingrates!

Got a small emergency tonight, Mom just called. Her and dad are in AZ lookin at property and her check engine light came on in her car. I changed the oil at 39000 miles, she has 43000 on it now. She has a 2006 Chrysler 300 with a 3.5L V6. Dad just checked the oil and its very low, like 3 quarts down, I think it holds 6 quarts. It also idles rough once in a while too she said. I serviced it at 39000 and she never had a problem until today They left a week ago with now issues yet. When I serviced it I did the oil, filter, air filter, and the plugs. I found out later on the 3.5 you don't have to do them till alot later, oh well. They have had no oil leaks from what they can see, I'm thinking its burning it off somewhere. I know all there other cars they've taken on trips out there have burn a quart because of the mountian and desert driving but its never been this much of an oil loss. If this keeps on they are gonna take it to the dealer out there.

anyway. careful running your genny when the power is out. You light up a lineman and you will be getting a very nasty letter from the power company.
She has too many health problems for that job. She has a severe case of athsma, allergic to everything, and gets sick very easy. She can't step a foot into red lobster or near anything living. Although she would make a good canidate because she is very physically fit person, she was a swimmer/diver in school and a very strong. Her breathing is just not up to par.

Where in AZ? Weather is hell in the valley right now.
Any sort of aftermarket warranty?
Any odd engine noise? Valve tapping? We do a 3.5 head job or rebuild atleast once a month. Yes, they hold 6 quarts. I'm gonna go onto our work website and see if I can do some searching for you.
Jb
EDIT: I work at a dealer in the PHX area, lemme know if I can be of any help.

For the life of me I can't remember how to get a code to display on the electronic display. If you can get a code, I can tell you exactly what it is.
So, gimme a sec, while I try to remember how haha.

Thanks JB, I'll have them do that to see what it shows. I dunno if I'll talk to them anymore tonight, but I'll let you know what the code is after I find out.

I know what you mean. I knew my truck work with the key trick for the code, I didn't realize her car worked took like that.
