brake stand

brake stand

people tell my my 24v cummins will power break even though its a dully. well i try and try but i just can getem to spin. i can in water but not dry pavement. am i doing something wrong or is there to much rubber on the ground?

My truck won't break the tires loose on dry ground either (and I've got a Comp). Wet ground is another story. I think it depends on the type of pavement and the truck. I know some people can do it, some can't. Even if they have the exact truck. There is some pavement around my house that it will allow me to spin on dry ground (staging a light), and some that won't.

Ive got 3:55 gears and 33&quot; mud terrain tires with a stock auto tranny.<br>I think I'd see my tranny break lose before my tires were to break lose! :<br><br> <br>Rich

I kept doing brake stands with my firebird and tore the tranny out :'(... I don't think I will be doing that again!!!
