Brake Rotor Recommendations
Brake Rotor Recommendations
I need to replace the rotors on the Wife's Nissan Pathfinder - any recommendations of places to get the rotors? I see a lot of stuff on eBay, and JCWhitney, etc.
Anyone have any good experiences with some decent rotors for a good price? I'm thinking drilled, but not drilled and slotted. What do you guys think?

Good quality rotors and good quality pads! Bendix makes good stuff.
hey take a look at www.rockauto.com they have fair prices , and plenty of options, if you can stand to wait for them to arrive at the door.
Not exactly cheap, but they will outlast oem...

My buddy, my brother, and I have all used this style rotor & pad with great results.
Pedal feel becomes more linear....The more you push, the more the truck nose dives (braking force increases!). The truck does not nose dive to a fault, I'm just trying to illustrate what happens...When I need to replace the brakes on my '06, that is what I'll install.
Don't waste time & money trying to turn rotors on vehicles made after ~1985...There's enough material there to stop safely, but the rotors warp too easily.
When I put these rotors on my F150, Pedal feel went from mush to firm & linear; Braking distance had to be decreased by ~10-15 feet. And, brake life doubled, or more. My buddies F150 would eat pads & rotors every ~20k miles. He tripled the brake life...After 60k miles, he put a fresh set of pads on & went for another 60k before buying new pads and rotors!
Can't say enough good!
