Boaters question?!?!?!?

I dont know squat about boats, other than this is a nice one, but is this a trampoline or a sun-screen?

Please excuse the girlfriends feet, this was on I-10 going into Houston, this afternoon. Thank you camera phone!

It is a trampoline on the top so the kids can play while mom and pop fish,
or maybe it is a Disco dance floor, or maybe a Clown boat.

There is even a deck on the back of the boat.

it is a rack for carrying bulky tubes and gear. there are side rails, I don't think it is a trampoline.

I've seen those before. its a trampoline for doing stunts off of if the water is too choppy for skiing. It adds another option to a boat that was originally designed for water skiing and has now become an 'entertainment center'. It also acts as a biminy to shade the passengers, a storage deck as suggested etc etc. If you look closely you'll see a small warning sticker that reads "Occupants must stay seated while trampoline is in use" Just above the upper right rocket booster tube on the rack itself.

OMFG! What an abomination!
I own a MC, and yes, I put a wakeboard tower on a Prostar, comp ski boat, but it's meant for towing water sports and actually throws a decent wake.
That thing is just ridicluous!!!!

It's a boat. It's designed to play in the water. We used to wakeboard behind a flat bottom fishing boat. If it has a hull, a motor, and can pull, I don't care what it's designed to do I'll use it for whatever I wanna do. But that's just me.

They would have been better served giving the boat to me instead of ruining it.
