One of the other forums i USED to be on had trouble with the post counters, there was an influx of 12-16 year old kids , that contributed absolutly nothing to the site , and it got so bad most of the members who did contribute left, including myself. I surely do not want this to happen to DTR.
They tried taking the post counters away , and almost every thread mentioned something about them being taken away , or whining because they were taken away , or trying ot justify why should be brought back.
I really don't want this to happen here folks.

black has over 9 post per day, and blue only has 5 per day so i would think black wins because he has a better average. But i would like to see black keep up 9 per day when school starts.

The ONLY good I see post-counts performing is to let folks see whether the reply to his post was a Noobie or someone who'd been here awhile.
It still would have absolutely NO bearing on which one was giving you correct info though.
There are folks new to the site with years of wrenching on Diesel experience, and folks who have been here awhile who just like to hang out.
