Last I heard was that the motor was over $20K from PDR.

Drop a short block in, and be done with it.

I need to buy a lottery ticket.

It is a very nice truck and alot of thought and effort went into it, however it is a west coast truck. If somone from around here bought it they would be very dissapointed, cuz there 900hp truck would have to be pulling against 1700hp trucks (due to twin's) you could slap a single on it and possibly be commpetitive. However Im not even sure what class it would fit in out here due to the suspension mods. not enough power for open, to many mods for street.

To get any money out of it he should pull the motor and then sell a rolling chassis. Sell the clutch/ tranny, twins, pump, head.

I can understand Scott's frustration. Sledpulling is incredibly expensive and often time becomes a full time job for those who do it on a regular basis.

Its gonna be hard to sell a lifted sledpulling truck.
Over the last couple of years it was slowly fading away from a west coast "lifted" puller and the looks were gravitating to the way a Midwest truck looked (for the better I might add!).

Although anyone who wanted to do the same should probably have the $$$ to create their own monster, not buy someone elses.

Take a chill pill man! Have some decaf! And relax!
Man do some of you have complexes. I never pointed any fingers and I certainly have no axe to grind with any of my fellow internet chaps. Just look at the icons, you all should have known to take it in jest. LOL

when your making such high boost (cylinder pressures) and turning those rpm's the crankcase is going to build pressure. they all have blowby, even my truck has some at 4k rpm

If this would have been a year ago or a little more...right when I was building up my truck I would have bought this in a heart beat! If you think of it...for anyone building a dedicated pull truck be it in Super Street or in the Street class it would be worth buying for parts alone!!!! Just think how much the axles (ARB's) trany, clutch, 271-Tcase and other parts are! then add up the engine bolt-ons like turbo's, pump, aux pumps, water then there is that $4000 data aquasition system...if you look at it this way its a great deal! even for me now it would be great for just the extra parts or better parts to put into my truck but I would **** near almost cry tearing down a truck truck known like it is...but honestly, I don't know if I could pull the truck the way it is...just because its known the way it is, people would probably cut me up everytime I wanted to do something to it..be it changing color or anything!

Good deal though and I would jump on it if I had the money right now!

I'd get it and not let anyone know. Paint it, take the fender flares, bumper (yet it's weight but if your tryin to change the look) off and pretty much make it look completely differnet. Change the insides and say you just got finished with it.

The only people that would know what all the motor would look like would be on the west coast and since I'm close to the east coast I just keep it here.

What's with the "corsa data aquisition system"? It looks like a pretty fancy unit, but what does it do?

Acquires data

It'll log boost, egt, RPM, fuel pressure,, etc, etc so you can keep track of what goes on during a run. Helps in tuning and also if something goes wrong, it can help tell you what
