WENT TO SON`S GIRLFRIENDS OPEN HOUSE YESTERDAY-THEY HAD IT AT HER GRANDPARENTS PLACE.
WOW TALK ABOUT BEAUTIFUL - 1/2 MILE OFF THE ROAD -BLACK TOP DRIVE -BEAUTIFUL HOUSE - 2 REAL NICE POLE BARNS- HE SELLS BLACK DIRT -
HAS USED HIS OWN BLACK DIRT TO SELL SO HAS DUG 5 LARGE PONDS - THEY ARE ALL FED WITH ARTESIAN WELLS -HAS THEM WELL STOCKED WITH FISH. ITS A PROJECT HE HAS BEEN WORKING ON FOR 20 YRS - THERE IS ENOUGH FLOW FROM THE WELLS THAT THERE IS A 3 FT WIDE CREEK LEAVING HIS PLACE THAT JOIN ES A 4 FT CREEK THAT JOINS THE CLAM RIVER COUPLE MILES AWAY - OVER TIME NATIVE BROOK TROUT HAVE COME UP THE CREEK AND FOUND HOMES AND IN THE FALL THEY SPON UP ON HIS PROPERTY - JUST CAN`T SAY ENOUGH HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS.

Yes, we're leaving tomorrow morning. Going to stop in Central Mass and meet Tim, (Hvytrkmech), then get into K'zoo sometime around midnite Tuesday.

I got this new 'Netbook' computer and satellite wireless thing so I could amuse myself and talk to all my DTRonians while we were on the road, but no one is around here during the day anymore so that idea don't work.

Morning DTR. Slept in this morning. Got grass to mow today.

Tim, glad you enjoy the BBQ breakroom, figured it was about time with the weather getting nice now.

I got the Dragon setup to fire up the grill later for lunch. Thinking of thrownin some chicken on.

Mornin... bout to go to PT... we have the CFT this morning... this is getting old. I've ran the thing about 3 dozen times... whatever.

Test tomorrow, Mess night on Thursday. Nothing big going on after that.

 

Afternoon All,

Just got back from my ride. Rode down to Cypremore Point, Which is along the bay here. Man it sure was a nice day to be out riding. 145 miles round trip, great little spin on a perfectly beautiful day. The grass cutting and steaks got postponed last night. Now I gotta go and get some fresh sharpness on the mower blades to cut it proper and then gonna fire up the grill later. See yall around.

Morning Madhat and afternoon to the rest of DTR.

Blake, was a good day here too. Lots of bikes out on the roads today. These kind of days make me want to get a bike just so I can go cruise around the county for a while.

Got the grass mowed, pruned the trees, and cleaned up a little in the yard. Got a big pitcher of sun tea brewing right now, beer on ice, got the dragon firing up the charcoals for me, and getting dinner ready too cook.

 

Dinner is done cookin, just got done eatin it actually. Was pretty good, bbqed up a few chicken thighs, made some parsley garlic taters, and boiled some sweet corn. Oh yeah, finished it all off with a couple glasses of cold sweet sun tea. Gonna have a few beers now and relax the rest of the evening. Got Shiner, Old Style, and Miller Lite on ice.

Saw a guy shootin one a while back, really caught my interest so I got to talkin with him for a bit about lever actions. I looked at them a little the other day at the store and like the Marlin 1895G, gonna go back maybe tomorrow afterwork and look some more and ask the gunshop a few questions about them. One I'm thinkin of getting is chambered in 45-70

 

Evnin' gang - - just grabbing a quick ph00 and say see ya. Heading out in the fiver in the morning for a couple weeks. So, stay cool, keep it in the road and see ya when we get back.
